Mr. Weiss is an attorney-at-law with admissions in Germany, the State of New York, and the Czech Republic. As a Founding Partner of Greenfort, a leading German law firm, he advises on M&A transactions and other corporate matters as well as litigation and compliance.

Mr. Weiss is also the Chairman of the Advisory Board of the German CRONIMET Holding GmbH, the globally leading stainless steel raw materials and recycling company. Until recently, “Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine” was a majority-held company of the CRONIMET group. ZCMC is one of the largest private employers and one of the biggest corporate taxpayers in the Republic of Armenia. Mr. Weiss advised and still advises CRONIMET in various issues in relation to CRONIMET’s former and current activities in Armenia.

In addition, Mr. Weiss is a close advisor to the family of owners of the CRONIMET group, including the group’s founder Mr. Günter Pilarsky who is appointed as the Honorary Consul of Armenia to the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg. Against this background, Mr. Weiss has been involved with Armenia for many years and has traveled to the country several times.
